Privacy Policy

Laithera doesn't run analytics, doesn't use cookies, doesn't have user accounts, and doesn't collect, store, or sell any personal data. This page explains the few things that happen anyway, just by a website existing on the internet.

Hosting

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare's servers process visitor IP addresses and basic request logs (browser type, page requested, timestamp) automatically, as part of serving the page and protecting against abuse and attacks. I don't have access to this beyond aggregate, anonymized traffic numbers, and I don't use it to identify or track individual visitors. The pronunciation practice widget

Some posts include a "listen and record yourself" tool. The listening part uses your browser's built-in text-to-speech feature; depending on your browser, this may be processed entirely on your device, or it may send the sentence text to your browser vendor's own servers (for example Google's or Apple's) to generate speech. That's your browser doing that, not Laithera.

The recording part uses your microphone only with your explicit permission, and only to play your own recording back to you in your browser. Nothing you record is uploaded, saved, or sent anywhere. It exists only in your browser tab and disappears when you close or refresh the page.

Cookies and tracking

This site doesn't set cookies, doesn't use analytics or advertising scripts, and doesn't track you across visits or across other websites.

Some pages link out to other websites or resources. Once you click through, their own privacy practices apply, not this one.

Changes to this policy

If anything about this site's data practices changes, such as adding analytics, this page will be updated to reflect it before that change goes live.
